Breaking my own rule
I usually keep politics and other things of heavy nature (except past bitching about my weight) off this blog.
But my sister sent me the words of Eve Ensler today and I had to read them. And read them again. And again. And again.
Then send them to a bunch of people.
Because...wow.
Also: Sarah Palin, please stop with the backcombing thing.

Symptoms of Senioritis
Symptom #1. You post pics and captions you (and only you) think are witty.
bait and switch? anything goes in arkadelphia, arkansas; altria's new test market.
what hell looks like from the outside
hey! there's no prize inside!
how to use a self-timer, return to modeling (who says it's just for 20-somethings?), and see if you look good as a tri geek; all in one night.

Symptom #C. You avoid doing your Financial Management homework and instead visualize swimming from your living room couch.

This is what they do at the Tour of Missouri
View and comment on Kelly Benefits Apple Cannon
In other news, I had a great bike ride with my buddy Marjorie Webb today. If you don't know Marjorie, clearly you do not nor have you ever lived in the Commonwealth of Virginia. I swear she knows more people than Diane Sawyer.
PS: A note to all aspiring cyclists - work super hard, win the World Championship, and you can wash the team car. Jonny captured none other than Lars Boom, reigning Cyclo-Cross World Champ, schlopping soap. A true class act. And I mean it. I would bet that some other World Champs think they are above that. Nor our boy Lars. Oh, might I add that Larsycakes is also U23 World Champ in Cyclo-Cross and the Time Trial. Awesome work, kid!
A week without a new post! OMG!
so sorry, people. i have been delinquent for little good reason. it's not like i'm a time-strapped first year anymore!
this past week i:
-got my first farm share from roundabout farm
-became a certified rickshaw driver for happy rickshaw. coming soon to a bar near you!
-rode my mountain bike and reconfirmed that i suck royally
-sent el gato off to the tour of missouri
-had a girls night in with some darden chicks and confirmed that i love them so!
-confirmed that lang reynolds will come visit us in charlottesville and (fingers crossed) decide to ditch seattle and become a charlottesvillian. it's nearly impossible to go pro in the northwest, anyway. the mid atlantic is the perfect place to live as you have access to top pro races every dang weekend! see the light, lang. move here! ps: we have hot undergrads!
