What, oh what do I wear?

Now that finals are over, I can concentrate on the more important things in life: what do I wear to my interviews next week? Should I wear my dark blue velvet pants to my interview at the company with a hip image? I just can't figure it out. The position I'm applying for does necessitate some style and aesthetic know-how. Shall I demonstrate it in my attire? Hm...
My pants are quite lovely and could be mistaken for black in a dark room. However, since my interview won't be conducted in a disco, maybe I should stick with the black skirt and croc boots. Okay, okay. I talked some sense into myself.
But blue velvet pants are so cool!
Tomorrow I fly out to Minneapolis. Rumor has it it's cold. But at least I don't have to be outside, unlike these poor suckers!
PS: Finals were a dismal failure. However, that seems to be the Class of 2009 consensus (from my highly-scientific sampling of 5), so at least we're in it together.
PPS: Would you kick this guy in the shins? Didn't think so!!!!!! The other day he was at a coffee shop, minding his own business before a ride, and some little 6-year old brat came up to him and kicked him in the shins! His mother, instead of reprimanding the child and apologizing profusely, just said, passively "now honey..."
I will refrain from ranting here. Maybe someone will in a comment...But that is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!! Would any of us have entertained that notion as a child? Kicking a complete stranger in the shins for no reason? Jonny and the barrista had a laugh about it, and when they saw each other a few days later they were still amazed at the kid's brazen disrespect for strangers and his mother's inability to discipline the little jerk. What is the world coming to?

Anyone who wears a pink shirt should never be kicked in the shins, rather whatever balls they have left, if any

Jonny would be proud. The entire Rutgers 'cross crew is now bumping knuckles, blowing it up, and then let the sparks fall.

Kansas, by the way, blows.

My mother always told me that parents are the ultimate downfall of children in today's society...would you say this is a prime example? No responsibility for one's actions, shame.

Good luck with your clothing decision as well, I am not sure men will ever understand looking at a full closet and seeing nothing, but I can empathize. ;) Still debating which suit to wear to my Darden interview.
