today is a love-fest for TARGETRAINING. i am still feeling the effects (1 week later) of Torr the Torturer doing a killer ab workout with me. that now brings the "minutes mandy spent doing core workouts" to 45 in the last 2 years. i rock. do not be fooled by torr's cute smile. he is evil.
which brings me to today. i went for a ride with eneas (pictured, smiling diabolically from beneath his TARGETRAINING cap) and matt (pictured smiling with little malice). eneas is my coach, and with him there is no mercy. we hit the door and were instantly at LT. which, for the uninitiated, is cycle-speak for "gawd this freakin hurts/crying for mommy"-type efforts. no warmup, no nothing. with eneas, you're at threshold within the first 5 pedal-strokes. not how we roll in la casa de lozano, but whatever coachie says. so, i spent the next two hours groveling on either his rear wheel or matt's. i got such a bad bottom-bracket stare going that i nearly crashed myself. i kept matt entertained with my patented "mandy-squaking", calling out various degrees of leg-burning pain and lung failure. (my only consolation was that i looked mega-hot in my new targetraining kit astride my EXTREMELY hot new custom-carbon aegis specially-painted for the TARGETRAINING women's pro team) we covered 41 HILLY miles in two hours. remind me to do that every week. i'll win world's for sure.

then, i went to stephanie for a massage. my second massage in my life. it was incredible. i feel oooooom-tastic and will extend my inner peace until at least after dinner.aaaaaah.this weekend is battekill-roubaix. a 55-mile road race over a lot of gravel. the cyclo-cross queen is happy.

Except for location and lack of warmup, it sounds like Mandykins on the Mission Valley Moncure-HELP ride.
B-R, I did that last year (it was my 1st & last road race!). I plan to go watch at the top of the Willard climb. good luck!
ps: Its snowing here!
coachie = hottie
good choice
How is it that you come across all these super mega gorgeous guys all the time? If you find you have a surplus, please send some here to Belgium - or even France since i now spend half my time there nowadays. I will pay postage.
