let's move on. arkansas never fails to impress. it is one of the most beautiful states in the union. no wonder their motto is "the natural state". alabama's motto is "stars fell on alabama", which is true, among other things. a lot of trash and economic depression fell on alabama, too...but they aren't putting THAT on the license plates. something about "effective marketing" and stuff.

we are about to start the joe martin stage race. this was my first stage race as a pro last year. here i am with some of my cheerwine girls at flying burrito after the conclusion of the 2006 edition. i was so tiny!

nearly my entire targetraining team is coming to this year's race! rebecca, our prodigious talent from chicago, is making the trip south! here she is...enjoying her silver medal at the u23 world time trial championships a few years back. awesome. she has since dyed her hair blonde, and looks even more adorable.
